Hushed and charred fly-ashed despondency
wailing, “All gone!!!” as a hot head’s response
to the loss of cindered objects
offering little or no solace seeing zero options
as cockeyed optimists insist,
“We WILL rebuild!!!”
smack dab in the middle
of points of convergence …
